Canadian Open

The truck is packed and I'm ready to hit the water! I hope my boat is ready for Wednesday but if not my good friend Jack Summers of RadioWord is kind enough to lend me his. TFB cut a check there last year with a 15th place finish against the best of the best. My water is 10 minutes from Kingston which gives me a lot more time to fish and doesn't beat the boat up. I'm targeting big largemouth bass in 20 feet of water off a weed bed and slack water on the backside of points in a river. Sorry I can't give you more info lol. But with a 100 pros out there I don't want any company. Lake Ontario is big water and can be scary, last year I worked my way through 14 foot waves to get back to shore and it was not what I like to do. When I got back to the ramp I had to peel my white knuckles of the steering wheel and have a cigar to calm down. I wish all my fellow competitors all the best of luck and to come back safe and sound. Last year we lost 10 boats due to breakdowns in the water just from being bashed around!
Tight lines and take care everyone.
